Events before the main story
Belmonte, a Spanish nobleman, his fiancée Konstance, his squire Pedrillo, and her lady-in-waiting Blonde were separated in a maritime accident. Konstance, Pedrillo, and Blonde were bought as slaves by the Turkish governor. Belmonte searches for the whereabouts of the three.
Die Entführung aus dem Serail
Belmonte was in front of the palace to meet the three. Belmonte reunites with his squire Pedrillo and tells him about the escape plan. The escape plan fails. Bassa Selim had feuded with Belmonte’s father in the past, but he showed them mercy. By the of Bassa Selim, the four leave the palace.
