Salome: Short Synopsis
An eerie moonlit night. Salome finds Jochanaan imprisoned in an old well. When she meets him, she is captivated by his charms. Salome is abnormally obsessed with kissing him on the mouth, but he refuses her.
Herodes and his wife appear. Herodes, displeased by the grave voice and words of Jochanaan, asks Salome to dance. After the dance, Salome asks for Jochanaan’s head. Seeing Salome kissing Jochanaan, Herodes orders Salome’s murder.
